سنن ابن ماجه#461Sahihحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ مَنْصُورٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُجَاهِدٌ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الثَّقَفِيِّ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ تَوَضَّأَ ثُمَّ أَخَذَ كَفًّا مِنْ مَاءٍ فَنَضَحَ بِهِ فَرْجَهُ .
It was narrated from Hakam bin Sufyan Ath-Thawri that:He saw the Messenger of Allah perform ablution then take a handful of water and sprinkle it over his private area to remove any doubts about urine drippings
