سنن ابن ماجه#2074Sahihحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا أَعْتَقَتْ بَرِيرَةَ فَخَيَّرَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَكَانَ لَهَا زَوْجٌ حُرٌّ .
It was narrated from Aishah that:she freed Barirah and the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) gave her the choice, and she (Barirah) had a free husband
