Sunan Abi Dawud 1908
سنن أبي داود#1908Sahihحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ، بِإِسْنَادِهِ زَادَ " فَانْحَرُوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ " .
The aforesaid tradition has also been transmitted by Hafs bin Ghiyath from Ja’far with the same chain of narrators. But this version adds “Sacrifice in your dwellings.”
Scholarly Authentication
The label above is the grade most of these scholars gave, each scholar counted once — one dissenting opinion no longer speaks for all of them.
