سنن أبي داود#1189Sahihحَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، - كَذَا عِنْدَ الْقَاضِي وَالصَّوَابُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، - قَالَ خُسِفَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَصَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَالنَّاسُ مَعَهُ فَقَامَ قِيَامًا طَوِيلاً بِنَحْوٍ مِنْ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ ثُمَّ رَكَعَ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ .
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:An eclipse of the sun took place. the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed along with the people. He stood up for a long time nearly equal to the recitation of Surah al Baqarah. H then bowed. The narrator then transmitted the rest of the tradition
